Kubo and the Two Strings- Movie Review

When I walked out of the theater last night after seeing Kubo and the Two Strings my friend Liam turned to me, and said “I would go back in right now and see that movie again.”, and there go my plans for tonight. Nevertheless, Kubo and the Two Strings is an absolute masterpiece, and if anything, my only negative about it is that it has made everything else I saw this year retroactively worse. 

War Dogs- Movie Review

Last week, I had the pleasure of catching an early screening of War Dogs. Being that I love Miles Teller and Jonah Hill, I was very excited about this film. Both are fantastic actors and I knew from the trailer that their chemistry would be unprecedented. I didn't think this film would be that great though. Late summer releases aren't usually the best. Yet, War Dogs was a pleasant late summer surprise.

Sausage Party- Movie Review

Seth Rogen is back with another absolutely insane idea. This time, the hilarious actor took his talents to voice acting and created a completely computer animated film about food. Sausage Party was one of my most anticipated films of the year. The first time I saw the trailer, I didn't even believe it was real. When I did more research, I was beyond ecstatic to see this film. Unfortunately, this movie was a let down.

Suicide Squad- Movie Review

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of seeing my most anticipated summer 2016 film, Suicide Squad. For well over a year, I looked forward to seeing what DC was planning with this new property. DC was finally putting some of their best characters on the big screen. I was beyond excited because the marketing was next level. When Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice was just okay, I became a little alarmed about this property. It turns out I should've been extremely alarmed because this film was a mess.

Nerve- Movie Review

Before I start the review, I want to thank the fans of the site because I was invited to a screening of Nerve about three weeks ago! It was an awesome experience seeing the movie so early and it truly made me feel like a professional. Now, did this awesome experience include a viewing of a good movie? To that, I'll say yes. Nerve was a good time at the movies.

Star Trek Beyond- Movie Review

This weekend, the third installment of the relaunched Star Trek series hits theaters with hopes to dazzle and appease the diehard fans that have followed the franchise for galaxies. Being I'm a sucker for a great sci-fi flick, I had decent expectations when entering my viewing of Star Trek Beyond. I'd say most of my expectations were met and that I thoroughly enjoyed this space adventure.
